We are less than half an hour from San Diego and all there is to offer in that fine city. It doesn’t matter if you are looking for something nature related or high adventure you can find it there. We will highlight some options to get you started planning and give you some ideas of what is available.
Arts & Culture
You will find so many options from galleries to film & theater, or History & Heritage. You might be interested in the Spanish Village Art Center at 1770 Village Pl (619) 233-9050, or take a tour of San Diego’s missions by beginning at Presidio Park and visit the Junipero Serra
Craft Beer & Wine
We are fortunate to have more than 130 breweries, brew pubs, and tasting rooms in the county. Exploring these establishments is an adventure on its own. You will enjoy the tasting and meet the nicest people.
We have more than 100 wineries for you to enjoy on your journey as well. You have the opportunity to visit wineries outside the city or those who grow in the countryside and bring the grapes into the city to make the wine. Each one brings a unique story to their process and history.
Sports & Recreation
We have it all. Hiking, biking, fishing, sailing, scuba diving, surfing, kayaking, golf…can you think of anything we missed? And you can sit on the sidelines and be an enthusiast as you watch a favorite team play.
